Situation

Sometimes you want to enforce uniqueness on one or more columns. Even in a DWH scenario. One example are configuration datasets that are used to evaluate if a user has access to certain data, like RLS / CLS.

You want to make sure that it is not possible to create illegal (here: ambiguous) entries in those tables.

Acceptance Criteria

  1. Users can define constraints that prevent inserting / updating non-unique values in a single row.
  2. Users can define constraints that prevent inserting / updating non-unique combinations for a given set of rows (think compound keys)
