SQL Query for rawSizeLimitInMiB

kusick
Contributor

Parameter rawSizeLimitInMiB is the raw data size limit of the database in MiB.

This parameter is set in ExaOperations.

Is there a way to retrieve this value with an SQL statement within an exasol session?

I cannot find it in EXA_METADATA or elsewhere.

Hi @kusick ,

you might try this one: select * from exa_commandline where param_name = 'rawSizeLimitInMiB';

Cheers,
Malte

Hi Malte,

This SQL works. Thank you very much for your quick response.

Strangely the value of rawSizeLimitInMiB is 0.

Shouldn't it be the licence-limit (in this case 4 TB)?

Do you happen to know some other parameter with the licence limit?

Hmmm, interesting - might be worth a ticket at exasol support ?

Hi Malte,

following your suggestion I have opened a ticket with exasol support: https://www.exasol.com/support/browse/EXA-40237
