LDAP password sync?

Single Node Master

Challenge:

Username/passwords are stored in a database, passwords are encrypted using bcrypt/salt.

Goal:

Allow login to Exasol with same passwords, as well as support for OAuth2, etc.

Idea:

1.  Move user records to LDAP with passwords "as-is", configure LDAP to use same encoding scheme.

2. Point Exasol at LDAP.

Problems:

Unclear is 1 is possible on any traditional LDAP services (ie. AD)

Other ideas?

@drumcircle I don't follow exactly. So you want to migrate your local Exasol Database users and passwords to your AD, and then configure the database to authenticate against AD using the newly-transferred passwords? (so from the user perspective, they don't have to change passwords or anything)

Is that right?
