How to provision Exasol data via mdx

We would like to replace a SQL Server landscape with Exasol. But when it comes to applications which consume data via mdx queries what exactly is the suggested answer to replace existing MS SSAS cubes. In former raleases we saw there was an native mdx driver by simba for Exasol, but it seem not be maintained any more.

Hi @kochjoe ,

let me nudge @exa-ThomasB for you. I think I remember that he said something.

Hi,

if I remember correctly, the best way to go is using ROLAP instead of MOLAP:

Thxs Franz,

this is exactly the way we've used it now. MOLAP for the dimensions and ROLAP for the fact table. Do you know why the OLAP connector from SIMBA is not available any longer: https://www.exasol.com/de/komfortsprung-uber-den-exasolution-olap-connector-direkt-aufs-data-warehou...

cheers, Jörg
