Hello,
when setting up a Exasol singe-node on Azure, I wonder what host caching type (None, Read only or Read/Write) to select for the datadisk.
I did not find any documentation of Exasol about that.
When you set up a instance with Exasol Cloud Tools, host caching is enabled for OS disk, but disabled for datadisk.
Is this the official Exasol recommendation?
Does disk host caching make a difference in performance on Exasol at all?

Hi Michigalli,
because of our internal storage access pattern we mostly did not observe any performance improvement when having Read only or Read/Wirte cache enabled. This is the reasion why we turned it off by default in Exasol Cloud Tools. But it can still be used and there might be workloads where it can give better performance.
